1. Read 5 articles: On Principles of Effective CFL Teaching, On Teaching Methods, On Spiraling On Teaching and Testing and On Conducting Individual Sessions Effectively.
2. Take a look at the syllabi for Level 1, Level 2, Level 2.5 Level 3, and Level 4

Lesson planning (Levels I and 2): how to design and implement different class activities. How to proceed from controlled contextualized grammar practice to application-type of grammar pattern drills to communicative tasks. Both principles and specific examples will be used to illustrate how we do the different types of classes. This session will be lead by Bai Jianhua, Chen Tong and Yang Yusheng laoshi. |
